This year, the Reproductive Health Technologies Project celebrates 20 years of success in helping to build the political will necessary to drive innovation in reproductive health technologies so every woman has more choices when it comes to controlling her fertility.
What started as a rather renegade group of leaders in women’s health gathered around a borrowed conference room table in Washington has grown into a stable and highly regarded institution.
The topics have changed and our political fortunes have waxed and waned over the years, but RHTP continues to be a home for like-minded individuals, frustrated by limitations of imagination and resources, who are willing to work together to influence the public policy process in ways that make a difference in the lives of real women. That means working together to bridge differences of race, class, gender, geography, and professional expertise, so that new technologies are developed and introduced in a way that reflects the diversity of experience of women – and their partners – who use them.
To mark the 20th anniversary of its official incorporation, RHTP will host a celebration in Washington, DC on Tuesday, November 27.
We hope you will join us at the event, but in the meantime, please consider showing your support for RHTP by making a tax deductible contribution
